Circuits and Pictures of the G6AVK QRPp Beacon's

New!! the DDS Beacon

A few of my usual poor quality Pictures of the latest "bare Bones" DDS Beacon based on the design by Matteo Campanella
I hope in time to add a few more Pictures showing the LPF and PA boards.
Some brief info on the Project Here

Some new Pictures of the new G6AVK-3 Beacon:
At long last the LPF for 7Mhz has been added to the Buffer/PA, and I can switch between the two filters
with small miniature relays, crude but works OK. Not "Microwave" standards Hi!
Bottom left is a closer view showing the relays, the preset to adjust the drive to the PA.

Some Pictures of the new G6AVK-3 Beacon, just powered down after the 7Mhz mini-test this weekend.
Top is the Buffer/PA (still not finished, a 7Mhz LPF to be added) but has adjustable power level, below right
is the 7Mhz Temperature Controlled Crystal Oscillator, DL6JAN Keyer + DAC..
Bottom left is the original 10Mhz Temperature Controlled Oscillator.

The Development Beacon goes live!

Shown here is the G6AVK-2 Beacon active on the 21st-22nd Jan on an activity weekend I had.
The Beacon was running 500mW on 10.140.015.
Notice how clean the output is on the Spectrum Analyser.
